I haven't been on for a while, but I recommend the forum to anyone loving video games, debate role playing and making new friends. You get a couple of wierdos but just ignore them and enjoy yourself by mocking them.

This forum is great. Its a place where people can meet each other online and talk about whatever the heck they feel like. To all those low ranking comments that give crap reasons like "Zomg they talk about boring things", suck it up. We talk about what we feel like. If we all had sticks up our ass, we couldnt enjoy any forum that wasn't on the back of magazines. Our debates are for fun, not competitions. Once again, to all those complainers, get that stick out of your ass and suck it up. If you dont like it, leave.

Wow, I'm amazed by this site. It has truly brought on a revolution in forums.

This is Cudpug, one of the Admin staff on TTM. So TTM has been going for over a year at the time of writing, and every day that I visit, I always find something new to make me chuckle. Whether it's a witty picture by Dimmimar, to a Scars of Time post by Phoenix. From the encyclopedic computer knowledge of Mr.C, to the amusing poses of Yoghurtron, TTM is one big, and usually happy, family. Now to anyone who might be reading this, please pay no attention to the 1 star ratings we've been given. Anybody with at least an ounce of intelligence can see that those making said comments are obviously individiuals trying to weigh us down. Their opinions should therefore not be taken into account. What is TTM? TTM is a forum that doesn't have a set theme. Whereas some forum's cater to niche groups, TTM is designed to be a place to talk about anything and everything, and maybe RP a little too. The members, of which there are a healthy amount of, are all characters in themselves, and I can say that I'm quite close to a lot of those signed up. Ranna, my fellow Admin, does a remarkable job of maintaining the site, and we both add to the family atmosphere by being a couple ourselves. But that just adds to TTM's rich atmosphere. We are just like a big family. There are discernable characters, such as the bigger brothers (Guy the Second, comes to mind), to the younger sisters (Platypus), to the strange uncles that one would usually see only at Christmas time (Lhyonnaes Sapherae). TTM is ultimately a fun place, and we welcome anybody who is looking to make some friends, and to have some laughs. But when I say making friends, I actually mean it. Call me what you will, but I value many of the people I have met upon TTM just as much as my friends outside of the forum. We truly have some great individuals here, and not signing up to TTM is a loss for anybody, who will otherwise not get an opportunity to meet some of these amazing faces. That said, we don't want members that will join for a day, and not post. We want members who will join, and become part of our family. TTM is about freedom, and having a good time. The members are active and charismatic, and we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities to come on down to TTM, and to try us out. We run on the happiness of our members, and me and Ranna personally ensure that the members opinions go into every decision that we make. Please don't take any notice of these 1 star ratings, which quite frankly hurt me a bit, and instead see TTM for what it is; a good place to chat to people, to RP, to talk about games, life in general, and things that are happening with you. Music, poetry. Anything you can imagine resides within TTM's walls. And the door is before you, if only you choose to open it.

Its boring

Apart from the idiots who join up to spoil a good thing, our members are a bunch of laughs. There may be conflicting characters, but generally everyone gets along fine, and there's sure to be something to talk about that will interest you.

The site was recently refurbished, with our members contributing ideas towards how it should look and work.
TTM is not a themed site. We have sections for just general chatting, sections for Role Plays, and a gaming section, but anything reasonable can be discussed here. We also have a unique Debating board, and places to share pictures.

We're also look for more avid Role Players to join up, as we're lacking somewhat in active stories.

If you're looking for a good place to chat and pass the time, TTM could be the site for you. But if you've come to mess us about, don't bother joining.

I joined up just to wind everyone up and it worked. The admins are almost all retarded and they make me laugh when they tell me off!

Arrr!! huh Baten Kaitos song name is "the True Mirror?" lol. Though this is a good forum best of friends! Friends popping up when someone's feeling down. Frankly this is nice forum. Though news of games hardly found unless others snoop around other forums. Happy so ye be.
The Force strong in this one.

I don't like it at all.

Absolutly Brilliant. I never thought I would physically crave a website but I do! I'm not an RP'er but am a strong Nintendo supporter and I enjoy a good debate. The gaming section is interesting and informative, Cudpug's tavern is really fun and the house of debates is even better than watching a good old argumentative episode of Eastenders!

The only thing that could be improved upon is maybe removing members that don't post at all as there are about 40 members that never go on the site and there really isn't that much more to improve as the admin's are always trying to perfect the site.

I thought my last feedback comment sucked and wasn't very informative so here is an essay in honour of the admins. The admins are much better than Kyrris as TTM is much better than Kyrris' site called 'The Not-So-True Mirror!

The True Mirror, what to say about it? Well, there's a lot to tell, and most of it's pretty good. The members are a friendly bunch, and we all get along (for the most part). The RPs are a blast (Go SoT!). The admins are cool, always trying to improve the site. Overall, it's a fun place to hang out, and should be getting even better in the near future.

And there's the fact that I've never really stayed on a forum for more than two months before. I've been on this one for six. That must mean something. . . :D

It's a nice community, and with nice, helpful, respectable members. The only complaint is that they debate a little too much. Then it escalates, then *Insert explosion here*. Other than that, it's one of the best forum's I've been on, seeing as I've been on too many of them to begin with.

Oh it's awful. I mean, I admin it, but it's awful =P

Nah messing, It's a great passtime and I spend a lot of my free time chatting to me palz on the forum. I've made some great friends there and stuff, and I like how it's small, yet feels like a community.

Keep it up.

Very nice forum- Lots of members, a great Debate topic, and a very vibrant crowd. Everyone knows each other, which can be both bad and good. (Bad, newbies might have a harder time, good, it builds the community spirit.) Awsome RP section, and a haven for Nintendo fans. ^^

For such a "nerdy site" we have quite alot of members, as well as a really high number of posts.
22. | Oct 24, 2007
I like it. Good size, insane people (myself included). A nice sense of community. Good debates.
23. | Oct 24, 2007
I haven't been to that many forums, but I know that I like this one. I hated Gaia...it was waay too big for me. I like TTM because it's fairly small and we all know each other. Plus, even though you can get into an argument at one point of another, there's always someone who's got your back. There aren't a whole slew of things to do, but it's fun.
24. | Oct 24, 2007
I like this for a lot. sure, there are people arguing enternally. sure, there are people that can't seem to string a coherent sentence together. But you can't really stop that. As for some people commenting on our lack of social lives? If we talk to each other over a forum, it's socializing. And also, Scars of Time is an awesome RP, and the Admins rule.

It's not the spectacular site around, but it's damn good. There's a great community and all you need to do is give it a try. Plus there are some major updates that are gonna happen/happening. It's all good.
26. | Oct 20, 2007
These people must seriously lack social lives!
27. | Oct 19, 2007
Absolutly rubbish. All they talk about is nerdy video games and each other. How they have 92 members I do not know.I joined as nerdygirl after reading some of the nerdy posts but gave up on it because it was a pile of junk!

One word...AMAZING!
